When two generations of Sonics came together in a game-off of epic proportions, we needed a TV ad that combined old-school cool with modern edge. It also had to showcase the game functionality of 2D and 3D modes. The message was simple: double the Sonics, double the attitude, double the fun. The game received more pre-orders than any other Sonic game in history and stormed into the Top 10 in the all-format charts in its first week.
